Clay Darius is a dynamic Mãori performer based in Boorioo (Perth), Western Australia, known for his powerful voice, magnetic stage presence, and versatility across music and theatre. In 2015, Clay appeared on The Voice Australia alongside his wife, Paula Parore, as the soulful singing duo AViiDA, earning national recognition for their rich harmonies and heartfelt pertormances. Since then, Clay has continued to light up the stage with standout roles, including the larger-than- life Audrey Il in Little Shop of Horrors, the villainous Kashoggi and as Brit in We Will Rock You, Sebastian the Crab in the little mermaid He has also performed with the Perth Symphony Orchestra as part of Synthony, blending orchestral soundscapes with electronic dance music, and featured in televised and community events such as Telethon. His work with young performers in kapa haka highlights his deep connection to culture, storytelling, and community. With a career built on passion, authenticity, and a love of bringing people together through music, Clay continues to establish himself as one of Perth's most engaging and soulful entertainers.
