Peter Amesbury

Peter is a  lighting designer, production manager and technical director based in Melbourne, Australia.

Since 2014, Peter has worked with Australian Theatre Impresario Glenn Elston. He has assisted in bringing more than 100 seasons of Outdoor Shakespeare, Family Theatre, Classic Texts, Stand Up Comedy and Musical Theatre to the stage.

For 10 years, Peter served as Production Manager for the Australian Shakespeare Company. During his time with the company, he helped bring productions to the stage such as As You Like It, The Wind in the Willows, Alice in Wonderland, Hamlet, Godspell, and many others.

As a Lighting Designer, Peter has created designs for shows such as Maria Stuarda, Lucia di Lammermoor (Melbourne Opera). Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny (iOpera), Godspell (Room 8 Productions), Walking with Spirits Festival (Djilpin Arts), A Midsummer Night's Dream (ASC's International Touring Production), Songs for a New World and Guilty Pleasures (Blue Saint Productions).
