Giorgia Kennedy is a proud Colombian/Trinidadian Australian woman. She is a graduate of the acclaimed Music Theatre programme at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. While at WAAPA, Giorgia appeared as ‘Gussie’ in Merrily We Roll Along, ‘Diana’ in A Chorus Line, Dance Ensemble in Mamma Mia, ‘Bonnie-Mae’ in Miracle City, Ensemble in Cry Baby, Dance Ensemble in Strictly Ballroom, and ‘Brittany’ in The Wonderful World of Dissocia. Soon after graduating, Giorgia was cast in the role of ‘Pepper’ in LPD’s Production of Cry Baby directed by Alexander Berlage. Giorgia’s stage debut was in the musical Jagged Little Pill (GWM) covering the role of ‘Frankie’. Next up Giorgia was cast as Judith / Juliet cover, in the Australian tour of &Juliet (MCG), having performed the role of ‘Juliet’ for 60 plus performances during their Australian Tour. Most recently Giorgia toured Australia & New Zealand with SIX The Musical, playing the role of Parr and garnering great reviews for her performance. Giorgia screen credits include Your Number’s Up and Deadly Women, both for Beyond Productions.
